1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your name, email address, and company details. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our services, send transactional emails, personalize your experience, and communicate product updates. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, secure authentication via Clerk, and regular security audits.

4. Third-Party Services

We integrate with third-party services including Google (Gmail API for sending emails), Microsoft (Outlook API), and Clerk (authentication). Each service has its own privacy policy. We only request the minimum permissions needed.

5. Email Account Access

When you connect a Gmail or Outlook account, we use OAuth 2.0 — we never see or store your email password. We access only the scopes necessary to send emails on your behalf and read delivery status.

6. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

LeadGeni's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only use Google user data (Gmail send and read scopes) to provide email sending and delivery tracking features within LeadGeni.
  • We do not use, transfer, or sell Google user data — including raw, aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data — to create, train, or improve any machine learning or artificial intelligence models, whether generalized or otherwise.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to any third party except as necessary to provide or improve the user-facing features of our application, with the user's explicit consent, or as required by law.
  • We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
  • No human can read your Google user data unless you give affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes, or it is required by law.

7. AI/ML Services & Data Isolation

LeadGeni integrates with OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini model via the OpenAI API) to generate personalized email copy. Important disclosures:

  • No Google user data is sent to AI services. We only send lead profile data (name, company, job title, industry) that originates from our own lead database — never email content, Gmail message bodies, or any data obtained from Google APIs.
  • OpenAI API does not train on our data. Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, data submitted through the API is not used to train or improve their models. We use the standard API tier with zero data retention (ZDR) eligible endpoints.
  • Third-party AI provider: OpenAI (API tier, GPT-4o-mini model). No aggregators, gateways, or model hubs are used.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us or using the workspace data clearing feature in Settings.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export your data or request a copy by contacting our support team.
